Hi, I’m Matthew Sundby. Before getting into real estate, I spent years working in retail and customer service. I always enjoyed helping people in that space, but eventually, I realized I wanted to have a bigger impact—and that led me to real estate. A friend of mine who was already in the industry encouraged me to explore it, and I haven’t looked back since.
I've been in real estate since 2018, and over the years, I’ve worn a lot of hats within the industry. That variety of experience gives me a unique perspective when helping clients—I understand the process from multiple angles, and I use that knowledge to make sure every transaction runs as smoothly as possible. I’m a native Portlander, born and raised in North Portland, and I bring an in-depth knowledge of the neighborhoods and suburbs throughout the Portland metro area. After seven years of selling across the state, I’ve worked in all kinds of markets and situations, and that broad perspective helps me guide clients with confidence and care. I especially love working with first-time home buyers.
There’s something incredibly rewarding about walking someone through this process step by step and seeing their excitement when they find the right home. I measure my success by how satisfied my clients are—this is likely one of the biggest purchases of their lives, and I make sure it’s a positive, respectful, and enjoyable experience from beginning to end. I joined Evergreen and PLACE because I saw a system built to empower agents to grow their businesses and help more people, and that’s exactly what I want to do.
